Project Management
Each new manuscript is reviewed by our management team to determine the processes and workflow necessary to meet all specifications on time and within the projected budget. We provide castoffs and quotes based on a specific order or a sample book, or we can work up sample designs based on proposed length and audience. A schedule and all procedures are mapped out to ensure that we will meet the customer s expectations from beginning to end.
The project is then assigned to a production editor who assembles the team of freelance professionals and serves as liaison among the authors or editors, the publisher, and our composition department. All of our production editors have a minimum of 2 years of experience as project managers, and they all have direct copyediting and proofreading experience as well.
