Westchester Book Services provides publishers with book production management services on projects in a wide array of non-fiction areas. While we have particular expertise in the areas of the humanities, social science, business, and professional, we also have experience with technical handbooks, legal textbooks, cookbooks, and medical titles.
The services division is a relatively new addition to the Westchester Book Group, but the staff is definitely not new to academic and professional publishing. The director, Susan Baker, has over ten years of experience leading a high-volume academic and reference production department. Our on-site staff of production editors is a group of highly trained professionals who have many years experience working with authors and publishers on titles ranging from monographs to complex multi-volume encyclopedic references. We work with each client to establish a workflow that meets their needs in terms of schedules and budget while maintaining quality at every stage of the process.
With the backing of Westchester Book Group's highly competent composition services, we have the flexibility and technical expertise to manage projects according to established XML-based tagging systems.
